Miss Bubbles is shown relaxing on the sofa - which I have deliberately changed the color of to pink stripes.
When Bubbles was a tiny kitten someone asked why I had gotten a cat the same color as my furniture, possibly implying that an unwitting guest might sit down upon her. Well I have news for them - Bubbles never hangs out with my guests!
This off-handed comment may have scarred her for life. She is a shy, sweet girl and takes her time getting to know people. I'm sure if the person who made that remark ever shows up, she'll point him out to me.
Bubbles, being a shy, reserved lady, doesn't let people see her devilish, playful side very often.
Here she is getting ready to pounce on Mango in retaliation for his constant attacks on her. When Peaches joined the household she got busy menacing Mango and chasing him around. Bubbles wasn't Mango's "chew toy" anymore.
Mango pictured here as a wide-eyed, innocent kitten.
I'm sure he probably just finished destroying something.
He's still good at that - - breaking or toppling things and then walking around with that "who, me?" look.
But that's the Mango and he's totally precious!
A highly stylized portrait of Mango. I definitelty took some liberty with his eye color.
The emerald eyes and green background make him look like a little jungle cat.
Portraits of the adorable and dainty Peaches.
Her favorite activities are reclining on her favortite fleece, playing with Mango, playing with her catnip toy and stealing a taste or two (or ten) of my wine. Yes, she's a bit of a lush and prefers a Gewürztraminer, but we'll get her into a program as soon as we find one that accepts Abyssinians.
In case you're wondering... she always has a dreamy look in her eyes. She was quite sober when this picture was taken.
